The Makita 40V MAX XGT Mitre saw is very technicaly advanced and impressively powerful with a no load speed of 4,800rpm. Cuts very consistanly accurate due to the adjustability of the saws bevel range. Even when cutting hard materials, the saw is able to cut at a good speed due to its constant speed control and brushless motor.
