The DeWalt cordless planer DCP580 is nice and compact but still provides plenty of power for those heavy-duty tasks due to its increased power and runtime from its brushless motor. This Dewalt planer has two 82mm reversible blades that provide balanced horizontal and vertical planning. Planing up to 2.0mm in softwood or 1.0mm in hardwood and if you need the blades it couldn't be easier with the integrated torx key.
