How do I make a warranty claim?

If you haven’t registered your tool for warranty yet, register it at www.sip-group.eu and click on the Register Warranty button.

Once you’ve done that, and if your device is still covered by the warranty, you can open a warranty claim at: https://www.sip-group.eu/warranty/warranty-claim-activation

Once SIP has agreed to lift your item for inspection, they will send you a waiver to agree to, and they will arrange a collection. Package your item and attach any shipping label that SIP provides.

Once SIP or one of their service partners receives your item, they will inspect it and deem whether it is a warrantable fault or not.

If it is a warrantable fault, then it will be repaired and sent back to you.

If it is not a warrantable fault, you may be liable to pay for the reasonable costs of labour and transport. You will also have the opportunity to pay for the repair.

Do not return any product without first notifying the addressee in writing in advance that the product is going to be returned.

How do I package my product for collection?

Please wrap your tool well before sending it back for servicing. Any additional damage incurred in transport will not be covered under warranty as it isn’t part of the normal use.

If your item is over 20kgs, it will need to be strapped to a pallet.

Before preparing any machinery for return, please ensure that the fuel tank is empty. Many couriers refuse to handle consignments with fuel. In addition, SIP has a fuel disposal charge that will be made based on the rate applicable at the time of fuel disposal.

Be sure to attach any shipping label that SIP provides.

My SIP product is outside of the warranty period – will they fix it for me?

If your machine is outside of warranty, unfortunately, you cannot get it fixed free of charge.
