This KNIPEX 95 16 160 SB StepCut VDE Insulated 160mm Cable Shears offer small, light, and strong cutting capabilities without crushing cables. They require noticeably less effort, cutting wires one after another for up to 40% easier cutting than standard shears. The ergonomic handle design ensures optimal cutting feel, and the bolted joint provides precision and durability. These shears can cut multi-core stranded copper and aluminum cables up to Ø 15 mm (50 mm²) and solid cables up to 5 x 4 mm². The cutting edges are induction-hardened to approximately 56 HRC, ensuring clean cuts without crushing. Not suitable for steel wire and hard drawn copper conductors.
