This guide rail comes preset for use with the Plunge Saw. To make them suitable for the compatible Circular Saws you need to first remove the Splinter Guard as the rubber edge strip that is fitted to the rail will not reach the edge of the blade on the saw. Due to the size difference between the Plunge Saw and the Circular Saw you need to manually move the Blade Guard to the fully open position before you seat the saw onto the Rail.
