This Schumacher® 100A 12V Automatic Smart Battery Support Unit & Charger is a cutting-edge, microprocessor-controlled device engineered to provide dual functionality: charging a battery and offering essential support during extended electronic diagnostic checks. With its fully automatic operation, it efficiently charges batteries while delivering vital power support for lengthy vehicle ECU reprogramming and diagnostic tasks. The unit's capability to maintain a stable voltage under varying loads, up to 100 Amp power supply, ensures smooth operation during major vehicle diagnostics and programming. This smart device boasts voltage settings between 13-14.8V, ideal for programming needs. It delivers a continuous output current of 70A or up to a maximum of 100A for up to three minutes, as needed. Notably, it can restore a discharged battery (>2V) to nearly 100% of its original capacity, thanks to its patent-pending "thermal runaway" protection and charging algorithms that prioritize both speed and safety.
