Sealey Warranty

When you purchase a new Sealey tool the standard warranty period is 12 month from the date of purchase.

Extended guarantees are also available free of charge on many products subject to the purchase being registered at www.sealey.co.uk/warranty. These extended guarantees must be registered within 5 days of purchase.

Please note that guarantee claims must be made via the place of purchase where you may need to provide proof of purchase.

If you purchased from Tool Force, please contact us via email at info@toolforce.ie with your proof of purchase, order number, part number of the tool you’re claiming warranty against, and a description of what the warrantable fault is.

If your item is over 12 months old, you will be expected to cover the cost of the return to the reseller you bought from. If there are no faults that are covered by the warranty, Tool Force reserves the right to charge the customer a handling fee, the price of the collection and (if applicable) the price of a return.

Do not return any product without first notifying the addressee in writing in advance that the product is going to be returned.

All Premier and Siegen Hand Tools are covered by a no-quibble lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. Our no-quibble lifetime warranty covers individual items within sets.

How do I register my Sealey tool or equipment for warranty?

Register on your tool on the MySealey portal within 5 days of purchase.

Keep your proof of purchase close to hand as this may be needed. You will also need to register for a My Sealey account.

Where do I find my Sealey tool’s Serial Number or product code?

The machine’s Serial Number and Product Code can be located on the rating plate, which is a label attached to the tool. Please note that the exact location of this label may differ depending on the tool.

I’ve bought a multi-kit of Sealey tools that are eligible for an extended warranty. Do I need to register them individually?

Yes you will, if they are eligible for an extended warranty.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact your local authorised Sealey reseller. If you purchased from Toolforce.ie. please contact us via email at info@toolforce.ie with your proof of purchase, order number, part number of the tool you’re claiming warranty against, and a description of what the warrantable fault is.

How do I package my product for collection?

If the item is to be collected, then Sealey will email you the labels required and advise you of the collection details.

Please wrap your tool well before sending it back for servicing. Any additional damage incurred in transport will not be covered under warranty as it isn’t part of the normal use.

If your item is over 20kgs, it will need to be strapped to a pallet.

Before preparing any machinery for return, please ensure that the fuel tank is empty. Couriers will refuse to handle consignments with fuel for safety and insurance purposes.

My Sealey product is outside of the warranty period – will they fix it for me?

If your machine is outside of warranty, unfortunately, you cannot get it fixed free of charge.
