The Makita 720W 115mm Angle Grinder 240V is a compact and powerful grinder designed for professional cutting, grinding and surface preparation applications. With a 720W motor and a no-load speed of 11,000rpm, it delivers fast and reliable performance for demanding construction, fabrication and maintenance work.
Designed for improved durability, the motor compartment features a labyrinth construction that helps protect internal components from dust and impurities drawn in with the cooling air. This makes the grinder well suited to demanding working environments. An integrated anti-restart function helps minimise the risk of accidental start-up if power is interrupted and subsequently restored, providing additional safety on site.
The grinder features spiral bevel gears, providing smoother rotation, reduced gear noise and more efficient power transmission. A convenient spindle lock also makes changing cutting and grinding discs quick and straightforward. Compatible with 115mm discs, the grinder provides a maximum cutting depth of 30mm and features a standard M14 spindle thread.
