The Makita DUC357Z 18V LXT 35cm Brushless Chainsaw is a compact and efficient cordless chainsaw designed for residential carpenters, DIY users and general woodcutting applications. Powered by Makita's 18V LXT Li-ion battery system, it combines cordless convenience with a gear reduction mechanism that provides increased locking torque for effective cutting performance. At the heart of the DUC357Z is a maintenance-free brushless motor, engineered for long service life and efficient power delivery. The chainsaw offers a maximum no-load chain speed of 7.7m/s and is equipped with a 350mm (14") guide bar, making it suitable for a variety of timber cutting, garden maintenance and DIY tasks.
The chain features a 3/8" pitch, 1.1mm (0.043") gauge and 52 drive links. An ergonomic rear-handle design provides comfortable handling and improved control while cutting. For added protection, Makita's integrated battery protection circuit helps safeguard the battery against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. The cordless design also provides a low operating noise level, making it a practical alternative to petrol-powered equipment for work around residential properties.
