The Milwaukee 230mm AX NITRUS CARBIDE Reciprocating Saw Blade 5TPI 48477252 is a heavy-duty demolition blade designed for fast and durable cutting through wood with nails and other demanding construction materials. Its NITRUS CARBIDE™ teeth are designed to provide up to three times the life of standard carbide-tooth blades, helping deliver longer-lasting cutting performance.
The aggressive 5 TPI tooth pattern is designed for fast starts and efficient cutting through nail-embedded wood and a wide range of construction materials. The FANG TIP™ helps provide faster plunge cuts and improved access in restricted areas, while NAIL GUARD™ helps protect the teeth when cutting through nails and other tough fasteners.
The robust 1.27mm thick blade body and 25mm blade height provide increased stability for precise straight cuts while helping to minimise vibration during use. With a 230mm blade length, it offers a maximum cutting capacity of 10–175mm in softwood, wood with nails and plastic pipe.
Ideal for demanding demolition, construction and renovation applications, the blade is suitable for cutting wood, nails, bolts, hardened fasteners and asphalt roofing felt shingles. It also supports plunge cutting, window cut-outs and rescue applications.
